摘要
The agent applications designed by Multiagent Systems Group (GruSMA) for solving healthcare problems are presented. GruSMA is part of the Research Group on Artificial Intelligence at Spain's University Rovira i Virgili and specializes in agent technology. The Agentcities.NET Project, funded by the European Commission from 2000-2003, provided a research for assessing the utility of a worldwide network of agent-based platforms to provide e-services. The team designed and implemented the Health Care Services (HeCaSes) multiagent system which offered secure user access, support for user queries, and online booking for appointments with specialist doctors. The HeCaSe consists of six agent types such as user agents, medical-center agents, department agents, doctor agents, medical-record agent, and a broker agent. HeCaSe has been enhanced by clinical guidelines (CGs) that use the best medical evidence in a field to assist healthcare practitioners with their patient care decisions.
