摘要
The paper deals with the main problems related to the design of reinforced soil structures with geosynthetics. On the basis of the experience gained by the Authors through research and professional activities a scheme procedure for the design of geosynthetic reinforced soil structures is proposed. In particular, the following points are briefly discussed: project conditions, site and fill material characterization, design of reinforced soil structure, design control and performance monitoring.
