摘要
Unmanned search and rescue vehicles can assist humans accomplish the mission of victims detection and medical assessment efficiently. It becomes an important intelligence characteristic of the Unmanned search and rescue vehicles are abilities to assess vital signs from victims, such as heart rate and respiration rate in a low-cost and rapid way. This paper presents a vision-based remote measurement of vital signs for unmanned search and rescue vehicles, video magnification and remote Photoplethysmography (RPPG) techniques are used to measure heart rate and respiration rate from facial video which is captured by on-board camera. The proposed method was evaluated on unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) respectively, experimental results show that this method has good consistency and high accuracy with the gold standard, it indicated this method has great potential in enhancing the autonomous capabilities of unmanned search and rescue vehicles.
