摘要
The aim of this paper is to be shown the influence of the radial and tangential components of the magnetic flux density on the magnetic torques of the coaxial magnetic gear. Transient finite element method has been applied in order to determine flux densities in the magnetic gear air-gaps. It was supposed that most of the rotational magnetic torques are related with tangential flux density, and the radial component of the magnetic flux density does not create useful torque, but its high value is a necessary condition for a high value of the useful flux density component. Achieved here results are showing that this is not entirely true.
