Application of a kinetic model for investigation of aromatization reactions of light paraffins and olefins over HZSM-5

摘要
Aromatization of light paraffins (C-3 - C-7) and olefins (C-2(=) and C-3(=)) was studied over HZSM-5 (Si/Al = 120) at 500 degrees C. The experimental data were described in detail by a kinetic model and the rate constant values were used for quantitative characterization of hydrocarbon reactivities in different reaction steps. Kinetic modeling was applied for investigation of the role of these steps in the aromatization process.
