摘要:
Structural. magnetic and magnetocaloric studies on La1-xSrxCoO3 (0.20less than or equal toxless than or equal to0.50) were reported. The crystal structure of the samples is rhombohedral with x = 0.20-0.45 and is cubic with x = 0.50. Magnetization. Curie temperature (T-c) and maximum magnetic-entropy change (DeltaS(max)) depending on the Sr content in the samples are discussed. La(0.55)Sr(0.4)5CoO(3) exhibits the largest value for DeltaS(max) and T-c among the compounds investigated. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
