摘要：
Inflammatory lesions of the petrous portion of the temporal bone are very common and can be followed by cerebral complications. Thin layer computed tomography (CT) is useful for detecting bony changes of the temporal bone and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (CE MRI) is a sensitive method for detecting cerebral complications.
