摘要
With 5G technology officially entering the commercial field, the 5G industry has received more attention from academia and industry. Therefore, it is necessary to explore further the current competitive situation of the 5G industry and clarify future development trends and related challenges. This paper adopts patent analysis and patent mapping methods, studies the 5G competition situation from the overall trend, national competitiveness, competition institutions, technology hotspots, etc., and performs visual analysis using Citespace software. Research has shown that China and the United States are the leading countries of 5G technology research, and China has the fastest development of 5G technology. At present, the 5G field has formed a relatively monopolistic situation for large enterprises; the international layout capability of Chinese 5G enterprises is relatively weak. Suggestions are given for the current development of the 5G industry.
