摘要
For applications in thermal structure engineering, static and dynamic mechanical properties of 3D braided SiC/ SiC composites after oxidation were investigated and the effects of interface between fibers and matrix were revealed. The results showed that composites with combined (PyC + SiC) multilayer interface (denoted as K?C/ S) were superior to those with a single interlayer or without an interlayer. After oxidation, K?C/S showed the least weight changes, the highest flexure strength, small internal friction, and highest storage modulus. The outside SiC interface of K?C/S protected the PyC interface from further oxidation. Thus, K?C/S showed highly advantageous with regard to both static and dynamic properties after oxidation.
