摘要：
Herniography is the roentgenographic demonstration of hernias in the pelvic region by positive contrast peritoneography. To avoid complications in herniography, several factors are important. These include: choice of puncture site; choice of needle; testing the needle position; use of Valsava maneuver during puncture; avoidance of aspiration when the needle may have penetrated the intestine; choice of contrast medium; restriction of herniography indications in children; and personnel training.
