Sensitivity Analysis and Parameter Estimation of Cardiovascular Model

Cardiovascular circulation system has been modeled as a 6th order nonlinear system. Systemic arteries and veins; pulmonary arteries and veins; left and right ventricular chambers of the heart form the six compartments of the model. Sensitivity analysis has been performed for the model and then nonlinear least square minimization technique has been used to identify the model parameters while considering cardiac muscle elastance based auxiliary function and the systemic arterial pressure as the model input and output respectively.
