摘要
Complex systems require complex models to have high accuracy and a wide observation of internal dynamics. However, those models are not suitable for fast simulations or on-line applications. The modelling of Lithium ions batteries has been explored for years where model-based approaches and data-driven approaches have been developed. New techniques are being created to come up with simple enough models with high precision. A reduced order electrochemical model based on Dynamic Mode Decomposition with Control (DMDc) is developed here to achieve high prediction accuracy for state-of-charge (SOC) estimation without the need of a high-dimensional model. The performance is illustrated using numerical simulations and comparison with standard equivalent-circuit modelling with Coulomb counting. Copyright (c) 2022 The Authors.
