Reachability Analysis for a Grid-Connected Voltage-Sourced Converter (VSC)

摘要
To analyze a system accurately, all of its parameters, initial conditions, and inputs are needed; however, finding their precise value is not possible in practice. In addition, uncertainty of a system cannot be considered in conventional methods for system analysis. Reachability analysis is a method to find bounds of the system variables by given sets of unknown-but bounded inputs, initial conditions, and state matrix. In this paper, reachability analysis is used to analyze a voltage-sourced converter with parameter uncertainty. This analysis is also used to tune the PI controllers of the VSC for an improved performance in the presence of the parameter error. Reachability analysis is performed using MATLAB/CORA. The effectiveness of the reachability analysis results and improved PI controller is validated by simulation case studies in MATLAB/SIMULINK and experimental case studies.
