Time of arrival in quantum mechanics and the quantum Zeno effect

摘要：
Standard quantum mechanics provides no prescription for arrival times. We approach these by means of a detector model applied to some simple systems. While repeated measurements produce the Zeno effect only for states whose decay deviates from exponential, it can be produced by detectors even for exponentially decaying states.
