Optimal radar parameters for nonlinear internal wave observation by SAR

摘要
The optimal radar parameters (frequency, polarization, incidence angle and look direction) for nonlinear internal wave observation by synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has been studied based on a simulation model developed from the radar imaging mechanism of nonlinear internal waves. The model consists of the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation, the action balance equation and the radar backscattering model. Some reasonable results has been achieved.
