摘要
This paper presents an experimental study of aluminum droplet combustion in normal and low-gravity environment. Emphasis is on correlation between combustion products and combustion conditions. A laboratory-scale installation has been used to provide the low gravity environment to study the thermal structure of reaction zones and the products morphology at various moments of the droplet combustion. The morphology characteristics of condensed phase of combustion products have been determined using the scanning electron-microscopy. Peculiar macro-aggregates of spherical microparticles are found in products of Al-combustion in low-gravity environment.
