Preliminary study of a brain-computer interface

摘要
For a brain-computer interface, we discriminate between Yes and No, which are the most elementary expressions in communication between human beings. For this purpose, we performed a time-frequency analysis of the electroencephalogram (EEG) for visual and auditory stimuli and for Yes/No questions. We calculated an asymmetry ratio as a function of time in frequency, a change rate of relative power in frequency, and the correlation coefficient of power in gamma band as some features which may characterize Yes and No. We also trained an artificial neural network.
