摘要
The paper proposes a new quadratic step-down converter with single active switch and three diodes that work as a buck converter, while it still operates at moderate duty cycles. The main static features of the converter are revealed after a dc analysis is performed. The main design equations are derived, then the converter is simulated and finally experimentally tested in order to validate and prove the feasibility of the proposed step-down quadratic topology.
