摘要
In Euskal Herria, feminist reading clubs are in ongoing creative and networking processes. This article aims at exploring how these clubs use literary dialogical gatherings as instruments in the empowerment of women. In order to do so, we are specifically analyzing the reading of Leslie Feinberg's Stone Butch Blues (1993) in Basque, undertaken by the Feminist Agenda Euskal Literaturan reading club, located in Vitoria-Gasteiz. As for the methodology, the interpretations of this literary work have been measured and categorized to draw results and conclusions. As a major conclusion, we can affirm that Stone Butch Blues enacts in a practical way Butler's (2018) concept of gender performativity. Moreover, this text is very appropriate tool to be used in schools as a way to exercise on gender.
