Appearance of new programmes and technologies in pharmacotherapy for bronchial asthma cannot substitute programmes of physical rehabilitation based on the use of different means of physical medicine. Physical need of a person in movement is the basis for rehabilitation programmes. Means of physical rehabilitation(medical gymnastics and massage) were stated to influence significantly the quality of life of patients with bronchial asthma. SF-36 questionnaire being used for the purpose. St.George questionnaires were given to patients undergoing standard basic therapy by anti-inflam-matory and bronchodilating drugs(control group) and to 85 patients with additional use of physical rehabilitation means.
