摘要
The crystal structure of the diluted magnetic compounds CuGa(1-x)Mn(x)Se2, x = 0.1, 0.3, 0.5, were characterized using X-ray powder diffraction data. All compounds crystallize in the tetragonal space group I (4) over bar 2d (N degrees 122), with a chalcopyrite-type structure. In all alloys, Mn-substituted of I-III-VI2 chlcopyrites, the Mn cation preferred the Ga site which supports its ferromagnetic properties. These results are consistent with the first-principles calculations reported so far.
