摘要
Pressure sensitive paint (PSP) is an optical technique used in wind-tunnel models. It is becoming an alternative to the classical method of pressure taps. This study applies a polymer-ceramic PSP in compressible cylindrical cavity and convex-corner flows. Using prior calibration and a wind-off image, the full-field pressure pattern is obtained. The effect of temperature on the model's surface is measured using temperature sensitive paint (TSP), and the accuracy of the measurements is addressed. For a compressible convex-corner flow, in-situ calibration is required when there are significant pressure gradients.
