摘要
Aligned carbon nanotube electrode arrays have been grown on silicon microchips for sensor applications. The arrays have been demonstrated for the application as electrochemical microanalytical sensors. The electrodes in the arrays had an average diameter of 200 nm. About 13 million nanotube electrodes per square millimeter have been formed. The individual electrode tips in the arrays have been insulated from each other and the ends have been gold-coated and functionalized.
