摘要
The work has as background the pandemic caused by the Covid-19 virus in Brazil. The objective is to analyze the performance of boundary spanners in the inter-organizational context, using a hospital environment as a model, as well as the impact that the new reality caused by the pandemic has brought to these relationships. The research was carried out in the light of the local context, in the Municipality of Ariquemes/RO. To this end, a single case study was carried out, with primary data collection, consisting of semi-structured interviews, document analysis, and research in a virtual environment. The data was then analyzed and interpreted, leading to the results, among which we highlight the identification of a boundary spanner profile, the identification of boundary spanner classes in the hospital environment, and the impact on relationships caused by the pandemic uncertain environment. Contrary to what was expected by the researchers, the results pointed out more positive than negative aspects in the inter-organizational relationship, despite the recognized difficulty faced in the period by the organization.
