摘要
Competent and loyal employees are the strength of character for the organizational profits and apparently, no hotel can have outstanding operations without them. Although travel and tourism industry becomes increasingly central to the economies of Malaysia, it had been embittered by huge turnover rate that is deeply felt in the hospitality profession. Against this background, Quality Work Life (QWL) emerged as crucial for the service industry such as the hospitality organizations. Companies that offer better QWL and supportive work environment are likely to gain leverage in terms of hiring and retaining valuable personnel. Thus, there is a need to establish the extent to which the relationships of QWL and Occupational Stress are deem important and it will be a challenge to the hospitality organizations in Malaysia to be able to inaugurate a working environment that is able to retain employees.
