The MGM/Bally's Monorail System in Las Vegas represents a unique, privately funded investment in a mobility solution which has the potential to be expanded into an urban transit grade line haul system serving both residents of and visitors to Las Vegas. This paper describes the system, its design features, and expansion capabilities.
