摘要
This paper analyzes the relationship between information technology (IT), organizational learning (OL) and performance improvement in state-owned companies in China. The aim is to establish research framework for exploring IT, OL and performance relationship in China and empirically test that framework. With the theoretic support from resource-based competitive theory, the results from empirical study show that IT has no direct influence on performance improvement, but indirectly affect performance through mediation of OL. Thus, to improve performance, IT should be integrated with other organizational resources.
