摘要：

We examine the main kinds of floods in East Siberia, and their recurrence rate and distribution across the territory. Floods resulting from darn burst waves on the Angara-Yenisei cascade of hydropower stations are the most hazardous; flash floods are also highly hazardous. Analysis of damage across the territory of East Siberia showed that flash floods and jam floods are responsible for the greatest damage. Areas with a high flood risk in the southern part of the region also show a considerable industrial risk level, which results in a synergy effect when determining total damage.
