Terbium(III)-sensitized fluorescence of europium(III) in bimetallic complexes of the copolymer of acrylic acid and ethyl methacrylate

摘要：
Fluorescent properties of the bimetallic complexes of Eu(III) and Tb(III) with a copolymer of acrylic acid and ethyl methacrylate were studied. The results of the kinetic luminescent spectroscopy and the analysis of the fluorescence excitation spectra indicate that efficient energy transfer takes place from Tb3+ to Eu3+. The intensity of Eu3+ fluorescence at 615 nm is maximally enhanced at the Eu:Tb ratio 1:1.
