摘要
Most laser power transfer (LPT) systems are open-loop systems which is not robust in practical applications. Therefore, the wireless communication function is required in LPT system in order to build a closed power control loop. In this paper, a method of simultaneous transmission of power and signal is proposed. By modulating the input current of laser in a certain modulation scheme, the communication signal can be directly incorporated into the optical energy delivery path without additional equipment. A parallel structure of the constant-current converter and the bidirectional converter is designed to realize above method. At last, a prototype was built in the lab which validated the theoretical analysis and the feasibility of the method.
