Modeling of a communication chain with implementation of a Volterra power amplifier model for efficient system level simulation

摘要
In the design process of modern communication systems, it is more and more required to be able to predict. accurately the performances of the TX-RX chains. That means that the needs in terms of system level simulation tools and of macros-models become important. In this context, this paper presents a modeling of basic functions of a communication chain with an advanced implementation of a power amplifier using Volterra series. Modeling and simulation are presented in the Scilab/Scicos environment which is an efficient tool.
