摘要
The COVID-19 epidemic has caused significant disruptions in teaching at a number of universities, state colleges, and community colleges, particularly medical schools such as the College of Allied Health Sciences at Cagayan State University Andrews Campus in the Philippines. During the pandemic, electronic learning (e-learning) replaced traditional classroom instruction as the primary method of imparting knowledge. It was decided to use the qualitative research method for this investigation. Students' and teachers' lived experiences in an online learning environment, as well as the impact on their academic standing, were important components of the research approach. Additionally, investigating students' attitudes toward flexible learning as a result of the pandemic were important components of the research approach. Moore's Theory of Transactional Distance has an impact on e-learning since it is a direct consequence of Moore's Theory of Transactional Distance. It gives an explanation of the learning relationship that exists between the teacher and the student in an e-learning situation in which there is a substantial physical or temporal distance between the teacher and the student, as well as quantitative measurement of the learning relationship. For example, a lecture is a learning strategy that can be employed through Google Meet and is often used by educators in learning activities to develop student knowledge and learning objectives. Learning activities necessitate direct connection between educators and students in order for the transfer of knowledge in the process of creating knowledge and learning outcomes to be effective and for the character of students to be shaped under the supervision of teachers.
