摘要
The inter-turn short-circuit (ITSC) fault is inevitable for nine-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs). Hence, it is necessary to diagnosis ITSC faults in time to ensure the normal operation of motors. In this paper, a diagnosis method for the ITSC fault of the nine-phase PMSM based on the search coil is studied. Firstly, the mechanism of inter-turn short-circuit fault is analyzed, and the field-circuit coupling model is built to simulate the inter-turn short-circuit fault. Secondly, a method of motor the ITSC fault diagnosis by search coil is introduced. Finally, the validity of the fault diagnosis method is verified by corresponding(different) simulations of a 9kW nine-phase PMSM.
