摘要：

A review of order-disorder transformations in materials including several examples of structural ordering effects and effects of magnetic order are presented. Experimental methods used for the determination of order and also for the study of some physical consequences of order are discussed. A special attention is paid to the comparison of in situ and post-mortem methods and to the role of the thermal or magnetic history of the material. (C) 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
