摘要
Rollable prefabricated asphalt pavement technology consists of prefabricating and crimping the asphalt pavement in the factory. It can be laid on the pavement as carpets so that the construction and traffic barring can be completed quickly; it provides a new approach to pavement repair. However, the damage to prefabricated asphalt pavement caused by curling is different from that caused by repeated load on conventional asphalt pavements. Thus, it is necessary to study the self-healing performance of the rollable asphalt mixture. In this paper, a test method for evaluating the self-healing performance of rollable asphalt mixture was designed by using a three-point bending test. The influence of the test temperature, the damage level, the asphalt type, and the asphalt-concrete ratio on self-healing performance of the rollable asphalt mixture was analyzed. Results show that (1) the self-healing performance of asphalt mixture is best when the test temperature is 10 degrees C; (2) the self-healing index of flexural-tensile stress and flexural-tensile strain of the mixture decreases with the increase of the damage degree of the asphalt mixture; (3) the addition of a special modifier can improve the high-temperature performance and bending performance of the mixture but also influences the self-healing ability of the mixture after flexural failure; and (4) increasing the asphalt-concrete ratio is helpful to improve the self-healing performance of asphalt mixture.
