摘要
This article investigates theoretically 12 combustion products, which are CO2, H2O, N-2, O-2, CO, H-2, NO, O, H, OH, N, and NO2, of gasoline, diesel, ethanol, and methanol fuels at the same thermodynamics conditions. CO, CO2, and NO pollutants of petroleum fuel-alcohol blends are also investigated. Petroleum fuel amount is numerically decreased in the ratios of 5-20%, and decreased amount is compensated with more alcohol to obtain the same reactant energy. Results demonstrate that concentrations of the combustion products change more with temperature and relative air fuel ratio compared to pressure. Alcohol addition into petroleum fuels decreases mostly CO and CO2, but no clear results exist on NOR. Blends with methanol are more effective on pollutants compared to those with ethanol.
