Breast metastases of a rhabdomyosarcoma in an adolescent a diagnostic challenge

Breast malignancy is a rare event in adolescent. The case history described an adolescent girl presenting with breast enlargement. Clinical and sonographic features remind on malignancy. She had a history of rhabdomyosarcoma of the parotis. Core needle biopsy provided the diagnosis of a metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma. The diagnostic and therapeutic procedures will be discussed. Metastatic rhabdomyosarcoma to the breast is an important differential diagnosis in girls and female adolescent, because breast is one possible metastatic location for this sarcoma.
