Low-temperature sinterable cordierite glass-ceramics for high-frequency multilayer chip inductors

摘要
A sol-gel process was utilized to prepare low-temperature sinterable glass-ceramics with a stoichiometric cordierite composition, in which B2O3 and P2O5 were incorporated to control the crystallization process and lower the sintering temperature. Comparison between differential thermal and thermal mechanical analyses of the gel powder suggested that the glass powder can be densified easily in the temperature range above the glass transition temperature but below the crystallization temperature.
