摘要
The contribution discusses a need for an implementation of eco-design in the process of shaping the personality of designer even at the stage of his study. The objective of a paper is to introduce the Eco-design concept manual (ECM) as a new eco-design tool for the students of industrial design. The first part of a contribution contains the elaborated comprehensive overview of present ways of eco-design implementation. A methodology of the research project concerning the conditions of an efficient ECM implementation is also described here. This tool of a vocational education should easily and systematically lead students of industrial design to become able to improve environmental aspects of their design concepts and products prototypes. The last part of a paper describes the research methodology and the assessment of efficiency concerning the new eco-design tool by using the objective methods of mathematical statistics including the expected results of the project.
