摘要
Two mechanisms are proposed to analyze the insertion phenomenon on the transition metal oxide electrode surface in the presence of Lithium salts. We propose to use a guaranteed set estimation technique to test whether these mechanisms can describe the experimental data. For each model, we obtain an outer approximation of the set of all the parameters that are consistent with the model, the experimental data and their uncertainty. We can then reliably invalidate a model when its corresponding set is proved to be empty. The outer approximation of each set is computed using simple constraint-satisfaction techniques that ensure reliability in a finite time.
