This book seeks to encourage educators - for their own sakes first and foremost - to explore the personal and professional development afforded by social and participatory media. It makes a persuasive case, based both on the author's on-going experiences as a teacher and teacher-trainer and on solid scholarly research. I recommend that all "today's teachers" buy this most important book for their personal use.
