A study of product modeling tools

The objective of this paper is to study the actual stale of the research and development in product modeling We describe different existing representations Such as geometric models, graphs, objects, standard models, knowledge based models and images, We explain the advantages and limitations,ls of these representations and we present some actual works using these representations. At last,we propose to develop a unified model integrating different representations lye explain the characteristics that this model should consider.
