摘要
The nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) methods for spectral simplication, which can be used in the analysis of complex mixtures, are summarized. These methods can be employed to gain information about the structural components of a mixture, to resolve the components of a mixture, and to characterize binding interactions that take place in solutions of mixtures. Furthermore, 3D NMR experiments and heteronuclear spin filters can be used to simplify spectra of mixtures to accurately measure diffusion coefficients of individual components. All these methods are based on basic NMR phenomena. The innovative application of the commonly-used experimental methods allows the analyst to solve complicated problems in a timely manner.
