摘要：
Classifying friction blisters by stage of evolution allows for specific therapeutic intervention. "Hot spots" herald the impending formation of a fluid-filled, Stage-II blister. Aspiration of the blister is essential in order to reduce discomfort, promote healing, and protect the site from infection.
