摘要
Groundwater artificial recharge can positively contribute to restoring the overall disturbance of the existing groundwater regime of the east Delta of river Nestos, focusing particularly in preventing saline water intrusion. Proper groundwater artificial recharge techniques are proposed after studying the geological and geomorphological environment, the hydrologic and hydrogeological regime, the various crops and the groundwater quality characteristics of the study area, and the results of the research works required within the preliminary recharge stage and the experimental recharge stage.
