Comments on noninertial interactions in quantum mechanics

We consider the problem of the energy levels of an electron bound by a Coulomb potential when the system is moving under the influence of a uniform classical magnetic field. In this atomic system the corrections to the energy levels due to the Coriolis and centripetal forces must be taken into account. As an illustration, we estimate the modified transition energies between the psi(100) and psi(2lm1), states for the particular case of a helium He(+) ion.
