摘要：
This paper introduces a time-frequency analysis (TFA) method of Wigner-Ville distribution (WVD) to analyze partial discharge (PD) pulse current signals with wideband detection for fundamental studies. The mathematical model of WVD is described, and its application in an analysis of PD pulse current signals at DC voltage shows its great advantage.
