摘要
The paper investigates the effects of governmental subsidies, including direct subsidy and tax credit, on Hi-Tech companies' innovation input, using a panel dataset of 2020 firms in Zhejiang, China, during 2003 similar to 2005. The microeconometric results suggest that such policy instruments could significantly stimulate company's self-supported innovation-related investment and expenditure of research projects. But the results also imply governmental subsidy may change layout of self-supported expenditure.
