A survey of the influence of SARS on production management in Chinese-owned and foreign-invested enterprises in Beijing

摘要：

We present the results of a 2003 study exploring SARS influence on manufacturing of 27 companies (foreign-invested enterprises (FIEs) and wholly Chinese-owned enterprises (WCOEs) located in Beijing. Some differences are found that the production plans are implemented more rigid in FlEs than WCOE. Generally, the SARS influence on manufacturing firms in Beijing is short-term, and production performances, which are long-term issues, are not affected.
