In situ stress determination in rock materials with damage

摘要
In this paper, influences of material constitutive behavior on in situ stress estimation are investigated. A general interpretation method using inverse theory is proposed for over-coring technique. An coupled elastoplastic damage model is developed for clay rocks. By comparing results obtained with elastic solutions, it is shown that it is necessary to taking into account inelastic rock behavior for in situ stress estimation.
